Special Olympics The main website for Special Olympics, an international organization dedicated to empowering individuals with mental retardation to become physically fit, productive and respected members of society through sports training and competition. Special Olympics offers children and adults with mental retardation year-round training and competition in 26 Olympic-type summer and winter sports. There is no cost to participate in Special Olympics. "Let me win. But if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt."

National Fragile X Foundation This site provides a great deal of information about Fragile X and related conditions (such as Autism), including definitions, causes, testing, interventions, and resources. The site is easy to navigate and the information is thorough and yet understandable. A great site to check out!
Research Autism This organization works to carry out independent research into new and existing health, education, social and other interventions for autism and autism spectrum disorders. The goal is the improvement of quality of life and outlook for the individuals affected and those around them. The website contains information about autism spectrum disorders and an extensive list of interventions that may be helpful with information available at a basic, intermediate and advanced level. In addition, they offer links to related sites, a glossary of terms, and information on recent research studies.
